Tree Decorating Party at the California Auto Museum

The California Auto Museum’s annual Christmas Tree Decorating Party and Potluck is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season with your friends and an opportunity to meet many new people in our club as well as other Automobile enthusiasts.

Our club has two Christmas trees to decorate and we have a lot of ornaments from past years. However, we would love to see more ornaments that you have made. An ornament showing your car and/or yourselves is a great way to show the 1000’s of people that pass through the Museum during the Holiday Season just what a great car club we have. No glass ornaments, please.

We will trim the trees beginning at 2:00 pm, followed by the Potluck at 4:00 pm. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to share with the other car clubs. Please bring a Side Dish or Salad that serves 8 to 10 people. CAM is equipped to provide outlets if you choose to bring a dish that needs to be kept warm. The Museum will be providing the main dish of Turkey and Ham as well as coffee, utensils and other paper products. They will also have a cash bar.

A highlight of this event every year is the Door Prize Raffle. They always have some great gifts and the money collected helps the Museum pay for the event.

Shriner’s Hospital Toy Drive- Sacramento

356CAR will be joining the 18th Annual Shriner’s Hospital Toy Drive- “Rally for Kids", sponsored by EuroSunday on December 8th. We encourage you to participate in this year’s event with 356CAR members. Please bring your unwrapped toys and meet us at the California Auto Museum no later than 10:15 am on Sunday, December 8th. We have an 11 am spot to drive through the Hospital grounds and donate our contributions to the kids.

We need to have a headcount of those planning to attend by Thursday, December 5th. Please RSVP to Joy Fifer via email or use the RSVP button in the next email blast due out at the end of November.

356CAR Sacramento Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas Party is planned for Saturday afternoon at Kim and Rachel Nelson’s garage. The event starts at about 1 pm and should end by early evening. All 356CAR members and guests are invited. Please RSVP to Kim Nelson via email by DECEMBER 7th if you would like to attend.

This is a potluck event. Please bring a dish based on your last name:
A - C = Appetizers
D - H = Dessert
I - R = Main Dish
S - Z = Side Dish or Salad

Monterey Breakfast

Location: Black Bear Diner. 2450 N. Fremont Monterey. (1/2 block west on the Canyon Del Rey Blvd., next to the Safeway).

Time: 8:30 AM
Parking should be good in the upper lot to the right. We have reserved the "back room" for our group.

Location: IHop 144 Vintage Way, Novato, CA
Breakfast starts about 8:30 or so.

Bay Area Breakfast

Location: Breakfast will be held at Michael’s Restaurant at Shorelines Golf Links, 2960 N Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View.
Time: 8:30 am parking lot tire kicking; 9 am breakfast. Please bring cash for breakfast.

This breakfast will be the 356th Day of 2024!!! If the weather holds out (no rain) there will be a drive after breakfast. The drive will most likely be about 2 hours with an optional lunch afterwards. The route and lunch location are pending at this point.
